Ms roya Memar is a translator.
She was born in 1961 in Tehran and graduated from Azarm
High school in 1978. In 1983 she received her BA in personnel management
and business from
Cambridge College of Art
& Technology. Ms
Me'mar also received another BA in health care management
from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale
in 1989.
She describes herself as a "self-confessed
ordinary woman".
Below you can read what she has to tell us about her attitude to life:
I feel comfortable in what I do. I’ve been
known to be without a mentor and without precedent in my work. Virtually
any issue I deal with is bound to have a negative reaction. Although my
thoughts are an unstoppable epidemic, I believe I don’t have to be a
genius to figure out what people want or need. I also know one can make a
great deal of difference in people’s lives through understanding them
well.
I think how much happier I would be if,
instead of endlessly fretting about what I could have done, I could be
secure in the knowledge that the correct answer is ‘what’s done is done’!
Finally, my motto in life is to keep on living if you love life and never
look back.
I think we ought to have a section dedicated
to confession! I’d be the first one to make a confession here. I always
wish to leave a simple legacy but life’s so complicated that I may not!
