Our courses employ a communicative and applied approach,
that is to say, the material used and the areas,
situations and topics covered will be mostly related to
the students' life and work environment and there will
be an emphasis on the ability to "communicate and use"
the language rather than learn "about" the language.
There will be
no pre-teaching of grammar and vocabulary. Rather the
students are plunged directly into an English atmosphere
relating to their life and work (semi-immersion) with
grammar and vocabulary points explained when needed
along with the flow of the lesson.
Most
course follow an integrated-skills approach, which means
they make use of realistic activities which combine the
4 language skills (listening, reading, speaking, and
writing).
